Yes, in many cases.The Clarity Maths GCSE Success Programme is designed to help students who are not yet achieving the grades they need and want support to reach a Grade 4 or 5 in GCSE Maths.Many students join the programme when they are currently working at a Grade 3 and feel stuck, lack confidence, or are unsure how to improve. These students are often a great fit for the programme.If your child is currently working significantly below this level (for example, around a Grade 1 or 2), I would recommend getting in touch before enrolling. In some cases, a different type of support may be more appropriate to help them build the foundations needed before joining a group programme.

My teaching is currently focused on supporting students working towards a Grade 4 or 5.Students aiming for Grades 8–9 may still benefit from strengthening key topics, but the classes are not specifically designed for students targeting the very highest grades.

Lessons take place live online via Zoom and last for 60 minutes.Students learn in small groups, giving everyone the opportunity to ask questions, take part, and build confidence.After each lesson, students can access lesson notes, worksheets, and supporting resources through the Student Dashboard.

Classes are limited to a maximum of six students, ensuring every student receivespersonalised support, opportunities to ask questions and individual attention.

That's exactly why the classes are kept small.Many students join Clarity Maths because they've lost confidence or don't feel comfortable asking questions in a busy classroom. There are no silly questions here.I'll explain concepts in different ways until they make sense, helping students build both their understanding and confidence.

If your child misses a lesson, they'll still receive the lesson notes, worksheets, homework, and supporting resources so they can catch up before the following week.Lessons are taught live and aren't recorded, so regular attendance is encouraged.

Students will need a reliable internet connection, access to Zoom, and preferably a laptop or desktop computer.They'll also need a scientific calculator. I generally recommend the Casio ClassWiz range, as it's widely used in schools and GCSE exams.

Students access lesson notes, worksheets, and supporting resources through the Clarity Maths Student Dashboard.Resources are shared via Google Drive, so a standard Gmail account is recommended.

Parents receive updates on their child's progress throughout the year, along with a personalised progress report following assessments.If I have any concerns or feel a student would benefit from additional support, I'll always get in touch.
