Clarity Maths classes are designed for students working towards a Grade 4 or 5 in GCSEMaths.For the current academic year, classes are open to Year 11 students. Classes are limited to a maximum of six students. Keeping the groups small means every student has the opportunity to ask questions, receive individual support and build confidence without feeling overlooked.

Yes. The classes are suitable for both Foundation and Higher tier students who are working towards Grades 4 and 5.

Yes. A paid trial lesson may be available, subject to space within the group. It's a great opportunity for your child to experience the teaching style, meet the group and decide whether the programme is the right fit before committing.

Yes, provided there is space available and the classes are still suitable for your child. If the current class is full, your child can join the waiting list and you'll be contacted if a place becomes available or another class opens.

Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout every lesson. Because classes are deliberately kept small, there's plenty of opportunity for students to receive individual support and clarification whenever they need it. The aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived.

Lessons are taught live and are not recorded. However, students will still receive the lesson notes, worksheets, homework and supporting resources so they can catch up before the following lesson.

Students complete regular progress checks throughout the programme, helping to identify strengths, gaps in understanding and areas for development. Parents receive feedback following assessments, and if I ever have any concerns or feel additional support would be beneficial, I'll always get in touch.

Yes, in many cases.The Clarity Maths GCSE Success Programme is designed to help students who are not yet achieving the grades they need and want support to reach a Grade 4 or 5 in GCSE Maths.Many students join the programme when they are currently working at a Grade 3 and feel stuck, lack confidence, or are unsure how to improve. These students are often a great fit for the programme.If your child is currently working significantly below this level (for example, around a Grade 1 or 2), I would recommend getting in touch before enrolling. In some cases, a different type of support may be more appropriate to help them build the foundations needed before joining a group programme.

My teaching is currently focused on supporting students working towards a Grade 4 or 5.Students aiming for Grades 8–9 may still benefit from strengthening key topics, but the classes are not specifically designed for students targeting the very highest grades.

Students will need a reliable internet connection, access to Zoom, and preferably a laptop or desktop computer.They'll also need a scientific calculator. I generally recommend the Casio ClassWiz range, as it's widely used in schools and GCSE exams.

Students access lesson notes, worksheets, and supporting resources through the Clarity Maths Student Dashboard.Resources are shared via Google Drive, so a standard Gmail account is recommended.

Parents receive updates on their child's progress throughout the year, along with a personalised progress report following assessments.If I have any concerns or feel a student would benefit from additional support, I'll always get in touch.

Yes!Throughout the year, I run online GCSE Maths revision masterclasses focusing on key topics, exam technique, and common areas where students lose marks.These sessions are open to both Clarity Maths students and external students, depending on availability.
